Match report Burnham won the toss and put OC's in

Burnham made good use of the drying pitch after a thunderstorm passed no more than an hour earlier, with Roger Perrin 12-1-32-1 getting lift off a good length and JT Harris 7.3-1-17-2 with his sharp left arm over bringing the ball back into the right handers and accurate use of the bouncer especially A Mcneill who was done by a peach of a delivery which pitched off hitting top of off. After reaching a respectable 70 for 3 it was left for the combination of B Leech 12-2-18-3 and G Campion 8-0-24-3 to reduce OC's to 95 all out, Brian kept an accurate line and was rewarded with a bowled and an LBW along with a fine catch by S Sims at mid on removing the opener M Bailey (39) who only offered the main source of OC's resistance as well as Campion with the help of N Wade made the most of the helpful pitch with 2 bowled and 1 stumping.

Burnham's reply was swift with JT Harris (32) and S Sims (33 no) having an opening partnership of 53 in as little as 10 overs again JT scoring quickly including a fine straight 6 left OC's no time to react and when JT departed N Wade (20 no) quickly finished things off by the 18th over easing Burnham Home by 9 wkts

Burnham next play GT Bursted & E Hanningfield at Barry Hearn's lovely ground here's hoping for sunny weather
