Burnham Sports CC 1st XI v Bentley on Sat 23 Jun 2012 at 1.30pm (earlier possible)
Burnham Sports CC Won by 61 runs

Match report Joel Whittaker was again in fine form as Burnham Sports resumed winning ways with a 61-run defeat of Bentley II at Millfields.
All-rounder Whittaker, fresh from a couple of six-wicket hauls in recent weeks, shone with bat and ball this time - making a fluent 60 in his team's winning taly of 188 for eight before grabbing the last three Bentley wickets available at a personal cost of just eight runs.
It was no one-man show, though, as Ali Allchin and Robin Whittaker, younger brother of Joel, also emerged with plenty of plaudits.
The former was rarely troubled on his way to making 46, sharing in a vital fifth-wicket stand of 87 with Whittaker Sr after his side, who had chosen to bat, had been a shaky 30 for three.
For an encore, the paceman grabbed three swift wickets to leave Bentley's reply in tatters at 13 for four.
Whittaker Jr arguably bowled even better - taking four from 30 from a 12-over spell that always threatened danger.
Bentley were eventually all out for 127, squandering more than 15 overs.
"We played some really good cricket and got what we deserved," Andy Stephens, the Burnham captain, said. "Our previous two narrow defeats were frustrating but this went some way towards making amends.
"Joel's enjoying a real purple patch and proving pretty hard to keep out of the game - long may it continue."
This Saturday, Sports, who are fourth in T.Rippon Mid-Essex League Division One, make the short journey to Rettendon.
Burnham's 2nd XI, meanwhile, entertain Great Wakering and will be in better spirits after a dramatic one-wicket win away to fellow division eight strugglers Stock III in their latest fixture.
Put into bat on a green wicket, Stock were skittled out for 94. Greg Campion grabbed four wickets, with Tom Stephens and Tom Silvester picking up a couple each.
In reply, Sports advanced past 50 for the loss of only three wickets but the loss of Rob Layzell (27) triggered a collapse.
It seemed Burnham might have fluffed their chance when their ninth wicket fell, but the last pair of Steve Rees-Evans and Campion held firm. Rees-Evans tickled the winning runs down the leg side, in the 46th over of his team's innings.
On Sunday, Sports entertained a strong Old Chelmsfordians team in the Warsop League and lost a 30 over per-side game by eight wickets.
The home side accumulated 157, with lower-order bats Jalal Ahmed and Allchin (both 32) being the main contributors.
OCs raced past that tally with 37 balls to spare, Eva finishing unbeaten on 73.
This Sunday, Burnham play away to Tillingham.
