Match report Seconds suffer a hammering

On a sunny afternoon and a very dry pitch Burnham won the toss and elected to bat.
As in the past 2 weeks the batting for Burnham struggled straight from the off with all 5 top order batsmen back in the pavillion with 21 overs gone and only 42 on the board. The only 2 partnerships of note were D May(18) and C. Rich (18) adding 29 and N.Wade (no20) and G.Campion (17) adding 28 and Burnham mustering a measly total of 117 in their 45 overs.

It was all put into perspective when Broomfield went into bat and how good the pitch was when the only partnership of 120 between C Reardon (no69) and Cowell (no39) completed the misery for Burnham in only 27.4 overs.
