Dear Neil

The letter from Jamie Hamilton was discussed at a Committee meeting last  night. The Committee accept that the position that you found yourselves in on the eve of the last game of the season was unacceptable and embarrassing. We would like to  apologise to all of your club members that the point deductions were not taken away a lot earlier rather than all in one go.

 Clearly we were very relieved that you went up anyway and wish you all the  best for next season. As a result of what happened we will be putting in a rule change as to how sporting marks are done and we will make certain that there is no repeat of the farce of this season
