another season gone too soon but you have one final match to shine in between now and late April - it's a 40-over Sunday League game away at Billericay this Sunday. Start 1pm, be all done by 6.30pm tops. Weather set fair.

Many thanks for Jamie & Greg keeping the show on the road on Saturdays this year, not least as both have considerable distances to travel to each game. Hope the pair are keen on doing the same in 2014.
Tom & Joel found themselves swimming against the tide on Sundays. It would be a great shame if we had to pull the plug on games played on Sundays but it's something we'll have to review at the AGM.
Congrats to Grant Smith (1st XI batting), Ali Allchin (1st XI bowling), Neil Wade (2nd XI batting) and David May (2nd XI bowling) on, UNOFFICIALLY, winning the averages. Spare a throught for Robin Whittaker, who didn't win the 1st bowling averages despite being the first player in 9 years to end the season with more than 40 wickets. Perhaps he and Allchin should arm wrestle for the honour. 
Presentation night will take place on November 2 at Burnham Sailing Club. Daisy and Dave have set the wheels in motion for this.
Weekly nets will take place at Writtle from January.
