The annual dinner & dance will take place at the Crouch Yacht Club on Saturday October 31. Please try your utmost to attend and think of friends/family who might fancy a night out. We want to see as many people as possible. The club captains - Jamie, Mike and Steve - are compiling orders. Contact one of this trio if you want tickets. Alternatively, go into the general forum on this site and leave your individual guest orders in the thread called DINNER & DANCE ORDERS. Simples.
The menu choices are as follows:

Chicken & leek Soup

Melon Parma Ham (melon with fruit coulis for vegetarians)

Breast of Chicken with chorizo sausage, tomato and basil sauce, topped with mozzarella

Lamb Shank in gravy with a hint of mint
or Cheese & broccoli Bake
Puddings
Rhubarb & apple Crumble with custard
or Eton Mess
followed by
Coffee
A disco has been booked, so get your dancing wheels on. Given that it will be Halloween, it has been decided that fancy dress should be optional. So if you want to turn up as a ghoul, ghost or goblin, or much worse, then feel free. You won't be on your own. Alternatively, the dress code will, as usual, be smart casual. Be there 7 for 7.30pm (sit down sharp at 7.30pm) and the award speeches will be kept shorter than usual to allow more time for a boogie. Price is £20 per head. Remember, this night is not exclusively for cricketers and represents an ideal opportunity for single players to invite a young lady (or three).
