Match report Another date with Greg Ricketts. We decide we will face our nemisis full on if we win the toss and, with a gulp, after calling right, bat first. We reach the dizzy heights of 13 without loss before he suddenly finds his range. Playing straight would have helped in some cases but, in short, he is just too good for us. Going out with 34 to defend is a bit like asking a vegan if he/she fancies a Big Mac - pointless. We do restore a bit of pride but not much and at least they show us the courtesy of not reversing their batting order. They go up as runaway champs.
