Match report Burnham 2nd's travelled to Broomfield looking for their first win of the season.
Burnham won the toss and inserted Broomfield, Roger Perrin (12-0-34-0) & Greg Campion (12-0-48-2) opened the bowling & kept it tight, Campion nipping out a couple. Sayeid Ahmed (10-1-34-2) bowling down wind bowled economically & at a good pace. Tom Silvester (7-0-34-2) bowling for the first time this season with his left arm spin can take encouragement from his 7 overs. Broomfield finished their innings on 177 for 6 with opener O'Riordan top scoring with 66. In reply Burnham lost the first wicket cheaply with only 7 on the board & struggled to get any momentum going. Only opener Neil Wade (35) and Sayeid Ahmed (21) managing to get into any rhythm. Burnham were eventually bowled out for 117 in the 43rd over. Broomfied winning by 70 runs.
