Match report Robin Whittaker hit a superb maiden century for Burnham Sports in their Warsop Sunday League fixture away to Great Waltham.
The 20-year-old is enjoying his best season with the ball this year, but showed that he is no one-trick pony - making 108 in his team's 40-over total of 228 for eight.
Fittingly, his older brothers,Dominic and Joel, were also playing, so were on hand to lead the applause when he reached three figures.
Whittaker, who hit 11 fours and three sixes, dominated his team's innings. None of his team-mates managed more than 19.
In reply, Waltham had reached 101 for one after 19 overs when a big storm washed out any further play. Whittaker took a fine catch to break the opening partnership and one can only wonder how he would have fared with the ball had he had the chance.
