Match report We needed to win this fixture - against a team challenging for the title - to have any chance of staying up. It was a classic but almost didn't happen as the roller broke down on the square pre-match. Finally, it departed, but only after leaving an oily mark away from the wicket. A damp pitch made batting tricky: Jahid and Gavin put on 54 before Bridgie and Stevo put on 56 in 8.3 overs at the finish. Chugger and Jahid claimed early wickets and opened the door for Stevo, whose first 5 overs were all maidens and included 2 wickets - including Hussein, brilliantly stumped down leg side by skipper. Their 9th wicket pair put on 43 but Bridgie and Jalal hold their nerve.
